Directions

Coming from Taunton

We are 11 miles out of Taunton if driving on the A358 towards Williton/Minehead.

You will pass a sign RIGHT to Triscombe; Flaxpool Garage will shortly be on your left. It does not sell fuel.

Continue down a short steep hill. At the bottom on the LEFT there is a large signboard for the Crowcombe Village Shop and Carew Arms Pub, followed by a farm machinery business on the left. You will see three grain silos on the RIGHT.

Immediately after the machinery sheds, and opposite the silos, BEFORE you go up the hill towards a turning to Crowcombe on the right, there is a partly obscured track on the LEFT with a silver milk churn on a low wall.

Proceed down this track for 30M into an open area and turn RIGHT up a slope to The Well House and a barred gate. We keep this shut because of our terrier. Phone in advance and we'll have the gate open. We look forward to welcoming you.

Coming from Bridgwater

Exit the M5 at Junction 23 (Bridgwater) and follow signs to the A39. Proceed until you reach the second turning to Nether Stowey at the TRAFFIC LIGHTS.

Turn LEFT and almost immediately first RIGHT and follow signs to Crowcombe which will take you over the Quantocks.

Down a steep hill into Crowcombe, turn LEFT at T junction follow road to A358 towards Taunton and turn LEFT.

At the bottom of the hill, about 100M and opposite grain silos on the left, turn RIGHT into the partly obscured track with a silver milk churn on a low wall.
